Counter Balancing
...also referred to as counterweighting or counterleaning.
Leaning the bike helps us control the effects of inertial force.
Counterleaning the body helps us control the effects of gravity.
We can use our body position in opposition to the bike position, in order to reduce the effects of gravity at parking lot speeds.
The lean of the bike helps to offset inertial force.
The counter lean of the body helps to offset the effect of gravity.
Counterbalancing should only be used at low speeds. At higher speeds, your body should lean with the bike.
